Description
Three Kits to choose from. Off Grid, On Grid or Grid Tie with Battery Backup. All kits have nearly everything needed to install your solar electric system.
All Kits Include 20x 540w Solar Panels for 10.8 kW of solar power. In good conditions that could produce 15,000kWh per year in New England, enough for a typical home.
All Kits Include an inverter, needed to convert the solar panel energy to usable AC for your home. Off Grid kit features a 10kW Flex Hybrid Inverter. On Grid Kit features a Tigo string inverter. On Grid with Battery Backup includes the wildly popular Sol-ark 15k.
Choose between Roof Mount or Ground Mount. Roof mount systems include roof mount/deck mount roof tech water tight flashing, all parts needed to mount the panels to your roof with just one tool, the hard to find Tigo TS4-A-O optimizer for rapid shutdown and monitoring, along with the Tigo CCA and TAP. The Ground Mount system includes the Tamarack classic Ground Mount Kits in place of roof mounts and optimizers- just add easy to find pipe and you're good to go.
Off Grid and Grid Tie battery backup kits include Renon Xtreme 2x 5kWh lithium ion batteries and one stacking controller, with UL9540a for enhanced safty and peace of mind. These kits also include 10' of battery to inverter cable with crimped lugs.
The 10kWh of backup power is enough for an energy efficent home to have power all night during a blackout, and recharge and run off solar power during the day. Larger homes, and those that use more energy, can buy additional battery packs and upgrade now or in the future. Stack up to six on a single controller and multiple controllers together on one or more inverters to have as much energy as your could want, whenever, whereever.
All kits include 500' of PV wire, a set of MC4 M/F connectors, combinder box, overcurrent protection, and surge/lighting protection devices.
These kits ship free to anywhere in the lower 48 states.
Enjoy 24 months of 0% intrest from Affirm and a 30% Federal Tax Credit.
These kits on average will have a payback of 5 years or less, and could generate $75,000 or more in 20 year savings. Participate in net metering programs, demand response programs and a host of other incentives.
All equipment is UL approved and most locations should expect quick and easy permitting.
There are a tremendous number of variables that will impact your return on investment. Every solar electric system is different because no two places on earth have the same sunlight. Renewable energy resources are dependent on real world conditions. We have made out best effort to show what a simulated payback might look like.
Assuming 15,000 kWh generated per year. Production will be variable based on sunlight at the installation location. Shading, tilt angle, orientation, temperature, latitude, system losses and other factors will impact the total amount of production of your system.
On grid systems assume a one-to-one net meter interconnection agreement with local utility. Off grid systems assume full consumption of generated electricity, which is completely dependent on your specific use of the product and may not apply to your use case. On grid battery backup system assumes full consumption of the energy, and full one-to-one net metering, along with a demand response program, like connected solutions, generating $2000 per year in value for five years.
Assumes full 30% tax credit claimed on the equipment. Consult a CPA for your eligibility to claim the solar tax credit.
Off grid system assumes inverter replacement at year 5, 10 and 15 and battery replacement at year 10. Grid tie systems assume inverter and battery replacement at year 10.
Monthly payment assumes zero interest 24-month financing and 100% of the tax credit applied to the loan repayment. Monthly payments will be higher before tax credits.
Grid connected systems will require a utility interconnection agreement and permission to operate by the utility. Each utility is different in how interconnection is handled and if any net metering is offered. Your specific location will have local rules and regulations regarding permitting.
Additional costs may be incurred to install the system, such as the skilled labor of an electrician, electrical parts like conduit and wire, permitting fees, and others.
See Solamp T’s and C’s for more information, but please keep in mind we are not responsible for local permitting or interconnection and production and economics estimates are for educational purposes, and not to be used as investment advice.
24-month financing is available through Affirm. Your rate will be 0% APR or 10–30% APR based on credit and is subject to an eligibility check. Payment options through Affirm are provided by these lending partners: affirm.com/lenders. Options depend on your purchase amount, and a down payment may be required.
