The single conductors stranded annealed copper
Insulation:
Concentrically applied XLP (crosslinked polyethylene) insulation, rated at 2000V. Sunlight Resistant, FV-1 flame retardant, Oil and Gasoline Resistant Cat I.
Connectors:
Stäubli Original MC4 PV-KST4 or PV-KBT4-EVO Renewable Energy solar photovoltaics male and female connectors. Original, copper, tin plated connectors, Stäubli MC4 connectors are approved and fully cross compatible with MC4-Evo 2 connectors for applications under 1000v. When you order this product we will ship cables with either Original Stäubli MC4 or MC4-Evo 2 connectors, or both, depending on what we have in stock. If your project is over 1000v, and you can only use MC4-Evo 2 connectors, please send us your project plan set and we can discuss your options. Nearly all solar projects in the United States are less then 600v, unless they are large utility scale projects. Therefore, nearly all of our customers will be able to use either MC4-Evo 2 or Original Stäubli MC4 interchangeably in the same project.
