Job Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and driven Retail Sales Associates to join our team! Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement:
- Greet customers with a warm and welcoming demeanor at our retail location in Boxboro, Massachusetts
- Provide excellent customer service, exceeding customer expectations, in a retail or wholesale setting, in person, on the phone and in writing via instant message, email or text
- Engage in sales discovery to understanding customer needs and preferences to offer personalized recommendations
- Present and demonstrate products effectively, highlighting key features and benefits, both online and in person
- Answer customer questions accurately and confidently, and in cases when you don’t have the answer, take excellent notes, peal back the onion to really understand what the customer needs, and bring them back the solution to their problem.
- Build rapport with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business
- Sales Performance:
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall store goals
- Proactively engage customers to identify sales opportunities
- Master product knowledge to effectively present and upsell items
- Participate in sales training and development programs to enhance skills
- Store Operations:
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment
- Replenish stock, ensure proper display of merchandise, and assist with inventory management
- Support other team members in daily tasks and contribute to a positive work environment
- Participate in recorded and streaming videos that help sell our products. Produce, edit and upload videos and content to social media platforms to drive omnichannel sales
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous sales experience is a plus, but not required. We provide comprehensive training!
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
- Enthusiasm: A positive and energetic attitude with a passion for solar energy sales
- Product Knowledge: Ability to learn and retain product information to provide accurate and helpful guidance to customers
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a small team-oriented environment
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail setting and adapt to changing customer needs
