Standard configurations of 12v, 24v, 36v, and 48v battery banks are considered low voltage batteries. When battery voltages are higher then 48v nominal, and typicaly several hundrand volts higher, it is considered a high voltage battery bank. Higher voltage does not equal a better battery and there are advantages and disadvatages to all battery voltage configurations. If you go with either low voltage or high voltage make sure your system chargers and inverters are compatable.
